Species Profile
Broad-spectrum treatment
A comprehensive general spray treatment provides broad-spectrum protection against the full range of common crawling and flying insects. This service covers both interior and exterior environments in a single scheduled visit, creating a residual chemical barrier that provides ongoing protection for 3–6 months. Ideal as a preventive maintenance treatment or as a reset following a multi-species infestation.
Biology & Behaviour
General spray treatments are calibrated to target the most common household pest species simultaneously — including cockroaches, ants, silverfish, earwigs, and general crawling insects. The synthetic pyrethroid-based residual insecticide adheres to surfaces and remains active as insects make contact during their normal movement patterns. Our technicians assess the specific pest pressure of each property before selecting the appropriate formulation and application rate.
Signs of Infestation
Multiple different pest species observed in and around the property
No single dominant infestation — general pest pressure throughout
Preventive treatment required before occupation of a new property
Post-renovation reset treatment needed
Seasonal maintenance prior to summer insect activity peak
Clinical Organicism Protocol
The Eco Pestelence 4-phase intervention methodology, calibrated specifically for general spray.
Pre-treatment survey to identify all active pest species and hotspot zones. Client questionnaire to understand specific concerns and risk areas.
Client preparation advisory — clearing of floor areas, food storage, and pet/child safety protocol issued. Ventilation assessment for interior treatments.
Full interior residual spray to all skirting boards, floor-wall junctions, under appliances, and in service voids. Exterior perimeter treatment to foundations, window frames, door frames and garden-facing walls. Crack-and-crevice injection in high-risk zones.
10-Day Elimination Programme
The initial treatment eliminates active pests while eggs continue hatching over the following days — newly hatched pests contact the residual treatment, progressively clearing the infestation within ~10 days.
Treatment certificate issued with active ingredient details. Recommended repeat cycle: every 3–6 months for maintained protection. Complimentary follow-up call at 30 days to assess efficacy.
Eco Commitment
We use low-toxicity synthetic pyrethroids that break down rapidly in the environment. Our interior application rates are calibrated to the minimum effective dose — providing full protection with minimal chemical residue.
